I have never had luck with the Endless Summer type. I think it's our crazy weather. I pulled out my older mopheads because a late freeze often nipped their blooms. Thanks for the info.~~DeeDee/reddirtramblingshttp://www.reddirtramblings.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012891747188380656.post-87538939063490151252012-03-13T12:38:23.201-07:002012-03-13T12:38:23.201-07:00Pruning hydrangeas is right up there with pruning ...Pruning hydrangeas is right up there with pruning clematis vines as far as confusion! In my experience, it always performs the same whether it is pruned or not.Phillip Oliverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01546160918395373740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012891747188380656.post-43357595063115575492012-03-12T17:53:28.652-07:002012-03-12T17:53:28.652-07:00I follow the never prune methodology, I am too con...I follow the never prune methodology, I am too concerned about screwing something up. Though while you're on the topic, I'd like to know if it actually helps Annabelle to be pruned?Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01524574998937986323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012891747188380656.post-46137326064164199642012-03-12T06:07:36.012-07:002012-03-12T06:07:36.012-07:00What a great post! I thought I would just give them all a good cut back since it has been so mild. I don't know if they realized we had winter. Last year I transplanted 4 along it. In a few years I should have a whole bank of them. MaryRosedale Gardenhttp://rosedalegardens.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.com
