The Garden Awakens
Anise 'Woodland Red' ( Illicium floridanum ) A few weeks ago, I thought spring would never arrive, but now the change is astonishing. The nights are still cold (40s and sometimes even 30s) so planting tender annuals and vegetables is unwise although I have already succumbed, but covering and uncovering things gets old quickly. How absolutely gorgeous, Phillip! I love that delicate pink colour. They remind me of our apple orchards here in the Annapolis Valley which will be awash with that same blush pink sometime in May.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful against the blue sky! Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt really is Phillip! Did you order the perfect blue sky to go with it! gail
