Just right down the road from Hidcote is Kiftsgate Court Gardens. This garden was created by Heather Muir beginning in the 1920s. Muir's daughter, Diany Binny, came to live at Kiftsgate in 1954. Coldwater Nursery Open House - May 4-5

If you haven't been to Coldwater Nursery yet then this weekend would be a good time to go. I was very impressed with their stunning displays of plants, hanging baskets and window boxes. They have a nice selection of shrubs and trees in the outside garden center and the greenhouse is full of colorful annuals. You can tell that the plants are well cared for and I've had good luck with everything I've bought from them in the past.

Here are the details about their Open House this weekend:

When: Saturday, May 4 from 8 - 6 pm
Sunday, May 5 from 1 - 5pm
