The Garden Awakens

Anise 'Woodland Red' ( Illicium floridanum ) A few weeks ago, I thought spring would never arrive, but now the change is astonishing. Wide-shot Wednesday

This is a photo taken earlier in the summer on a much cooler day than today. The view is looking up the terrace toward the pergola at the top.
