The Garden House (Devon, England)
The destinations are beginning to blur but looking at the tour guide booklet, I see that we are now in Plymouth. Today, we visited two gardens designed by Keith Wiley. The first is The Garden House , where Wiley worked as Head Gardener for 25 years (from 1978-2003). Summer is so good in the PNW. The lush green is mind blowing. Totally took that in stride growing up there, now I find it unbelievable. Beautiful gardens, that's so great you had time to get away and see them. With all the planning you had going on!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Thank you so much for sharing! Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada.
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful gardens. You're lucky to live in an area where so many people value their gardens.
ReplyDeleteMust have been Garden Walk weekend, what a delight to see so many treasures! I assume the third photo down is the majestic weeping beech? It’s quite mystifying though, does it have red flowers?
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a chance to go through my photos from the weekend yet, so this was a refreshing review of what we've seen. Nice to see what caught your eye at each of these gardens.
